Textbook Buyback IncHow does textbook buyback work? It is really simple! Either a store or an individual buys textbook from students and ships them off to a big textbook company which pays them cash for the books. You can sell your book to the Sterling College Bookstore and they will give you something. Alternatively you can sell you books to College Books MART and hopefully get a better deal. However, your best deal you will find is if you sell your books yourself. It takes a little more of you time and effort, but you cut out the middle man and therefore the margins. One way you can sell your book is on eBay. That takes a little more time and effort on your part. An easier way to do it is to check out the prices of online book companies and sell your book to whoever is paying the best price. All you have to do then is package your book up, send it off, and wait for a check in the mail. However, be aware of the fact that books in fair or poor condition often get only a fair or poor price from the book retailers. If your book does not meet their standards, they throw it in a dumpster. You may find an online search engine such as BookScouter.com or BookFinder.com helpful in finding who is willing offer you the most cash for your used textbook.
